Small Electronics to be exact. Today, I was thrown in the deep end. A busy Sunday, 15% off Toaster and Kettles, and not as many staff as I would have liked. But I dealt with it.

Coffee Machines are the bane of my existence. Thankfully, Tina knows everything there is to know about them. She rides a motorbike. We like her.

There is also a rather cute person in Computers. But the glances of goodwill and kind words are probably due to the fact that I am new. Oh well.

Tomorrow I am on 9 - 5.30. I will be alone from 1. That will be scary. I did some time alone today, so I know that it will be fine. But if anyone wants to know the difference between the $499 Saeco, and the $599 Gauchi coffee machines, they will have to be happy with me surreptitiously reading from the boxes. They are both Italin, and one of them is shiner. That’s pretty much all I’ve got.

What is two bars of boiler pressure amongst friends anyway?

$100 apparently.

And don’t even get me started on blenders. I think I have toaster grills down. George Foreman is crap becuase the hinges are plastic, and the white cover goes yellow. The top of the line Breville is amazing because it opens into a BBQ, and the base is tilt-adjustable. Um… Anything that isn’t Chinese is better. And we don’t stock Mistral. Because we are not K-Mart.
